Thanks so much for this video, I’ve just had my first bleed since starting kaftrio in 2020 and needing IVS. Glad to know I’m not alone as I instantly was worried I’m getting sick again. Thankfully my o2 levels are fine and it’s stopped quickly. Hope you’re well ❤

this reminds me so much of when I had my gallbladder taken out in 2012. it was done by Laparoscopy, and the pain was horrendous. it even extended all the way up to my shoulder. my surgeon said that even though I had 4 small incisions, the work on the inside was more extensive, and to take it easy.

Pretty sure this was the first of your videos that I ever watched. Amazing how life has changed since December of 2016!

It’s now mid July and I’m missing your vlogs! I totally understand that you can’t do them regularly any more as you’re so busy with Peter’s job and the family. When you have a moment please can you give us a short update on how everything’s going. I so hope that all is well with you and the children. I live in Somerset, UK.

As a blind person, I am dying to actually hold one of these ports to see what actually goes on. I've seen them on people I knew, but only where they were, never in detail. Mary, I love how you were experimenting, and having funw hile doing it! I wish I could have watched, not just followed the dialogue. So happy hearing baby noises, and you up and about after your port replacement vlog. I'm so grateful God has given you the boys, trikafta (sp?), Peter, so many wonderful years. May you guys have many, many more.

I know I'm late, but I've always found Miralax to be really helpful. especially after surgery.

Peter needs meds to manage his allergies, it's absolutely not normal to look that sick and cough all the time. He can't even talk easily. He could have asthma.

I had my port placed in 2021. the doctor had it in crooked. every time I had to get fluids and meds, it would take the nurses at least 3 times to do it. I eventually had it taken out, because it was just more painful than it was worth.

Good idea with the turtle. Now when children get feedings placed most hospitals give them a bear with a feeding tube as well.

Excellent job!!! Has anyone come back and let you know that you don’t need to prime at all? Air in subq space isn’t a problem. (Think about when you get a cut or when surgeons open you up and work in your insides, they aren’t worried about air getting in there) It saves time and frustration. Also, I am in Maryland! I wonder if I was ever your nurse if you ever went to Hopkins as a kid?

Glad to know I am not the only one suffering chronic illness since a baby child ……almost 39 and my new dr believes highly I have EDS Ehlers danlos syndrome. Waiting to do genetic testing. Explains my mom’s chronic health issues since a baby 73 years…..plus we all have mood disorders. Which is EDS related . My dad could bend his thumb to his wrist. Before he died 2005.

I feel like I have been on the journey with you. You have had so many blessings and there are more in your future. Miss Ollie boy, but know he is patiently waiting for you. I do animal rescue and always tell people that God sends you the animal you need for the time you need them. So love the kids. Love you both.
